Not in Kansas any more

Last night was our first concert. We have been to some at BYU-Idaho, but this was well different is a good world to use. We were able to go to diner before hand, which was nice. Then off to the concert. There is no outside food or drinks allowed so there were a great deal of people outside drinking before they went inside. You of course can buy stuff inside, but this made it interesting because people already had a few too many before they came in. There were these guys sitting in front of us who were in that stage. They were there to find girls, they eve bought seats next to them so that they could find some. We had a good time laughing at them, at them not with them. They would try to pick up about any girl who walked by who they thought was cute. The funny part was the fact that they ended up with some that came over to talk to Richard, they were from his school. Crazy what drinking will do to a persons thinking, because the last time I saw them before we left, they were all over each other. We did note that most of the people who were there were in high school still or go to Flagler College. It was interesting to see the crazy guys giving their beers to the high school students right in front of us. Some of them took them and really enjoyed them and the others just laughed and didn’t touch them. The joys of people watching. I think that was the funniest part of the whole concert. Honestly I didn’t really like his music. He is kind-of a country signer, which is fine but he had a lot of swearing in his music. The only song I liked was called I am in love with a memory. But by that time I couldn’t hear any more. I am still working on getting all of my hearing back. We ended up leaving early during a song that everyone seemed to know. I was not impressed at all, it was written from some police officers. I was kind-of glad we left, but it was an experience that I will never forget.
