Too Fast

So my week came and went and I never got around to writing anything. The kids are doing ok. Mason's head looks a ton better, you can't really even tell he hit it until you feel his head. Well at least the doctor didn't say anything today to me. That's right we went back to the doctor again. This time she thinks Mason has croup. So we shall see and just hope for the best. Aubrey is also fighting something. She has had a fever today, which started last night, so I am hoping for the best there as well. That means that we are trying to stay away from the swimming and everything until they get better. We do play outside a lot; Aubrey is making new friends left and right. That also means that she gets mad at them as well. This is a fun little stage we are in right now, with both kids. Mason is learning really fast how to get to his sister and he has gotten really good at making her cry. Some days are a lot harder than others, but they both really do care about each other. Today Aubrey told me that we couldn't leave Mason because he is her brother, but five minutes later she was telling him to go lay on his bed.

We also went for a walk tonight and looked for frogs and cats. We found a frog and Aubrey really wanted to touch it. She would put her finger down by it and pull it back really fast. Mason wanted to as well, but was too scared to even like about it. Finally Aubrey touched it was very proud of herself. Now I think she wants a pet frog. Mason on the other hand chased a poor cat all around and then both kids told me that we need a cat. I just tell them that they have a cat; they just don't think stuffed cats count. At least we don't pay more each month for the cats we have.
