Christmas

I am not even going to promise pictures, because we didn't even take any of Christmas morning. We ended up waking up the kids a little bit after 7:00, because Richard's family wanted to skype Christmas. Thy have all been sleeping in over the break, which has been nice and not so nice. They have also been staying up late. Anyway, the kids had fun opening their presents and for some reason they always manage to get more then we plan on. I think that is my fault, I buy stuff through out the year and then forget that I have. The one thing the kids have been playing with the most is their zhu zhu pets. They now have more than enough and Becca isn't afraid of them any more. They have also only been caught in Aubrey's hair twice. All and all we had a good Christmas. We even got to go have dinner at some friends house. The kids loved it and once again we fought Becca the whole time to wear clothing. It is really hard to take pictures of the kids when she will never wear clothing.

A small update

I had a few minutes, so I thought I would write a small update on all of us. Aubrey has been loving her new school and we do not have to fight her to go everyday. Although he said she wants to ride the bus. It comes at 6:30 in the morning, so I do not see that one happening. Mason is on his third antiboic, here's hoping this one clears up his chest. Becca does not like to wear clothes, so she will disappear only to come back naked. On a side note she also decided that she wanted to potty train. All I can say is that she is a very funny girl. I do have pictures, but will have to post them a little bit later.

Primary Program

We had the primary program this Sunday. Both kids did pretty good. Aubrey couldn't look out at all when she said her part and had to say it again so that people could understand it. Mason said his part as he ran away. He did not really sing during it at all, in fact at one point he was just moving his mouth. As the program went on we noticed that Mason had fallen asleep sitting on his teachers' lap. At least he said his part before he crash for his nap.

A Picture

If you do not like blood- I would sure not look at my picture picture coming up. As I said, Beeca fell and hot her head The poor girl was mad because we were holding something on her head and then we ended up wrapping her in her blanket. She was crying hard because she wanted us to leave her alone. Richard finally decided to put a big band aid on her head and she stopped crying. But it was a clean cut so they were able to glue it back together. It healed well, although it looks like she will end up with a bit of a scar.

Big changes

So much has happened with us that it hard to know where to start. As for pictures, well I still do not have my shoes upacked so therefore you should know that there will be no pictures at this time but they will be coming. We managed to get everything packed, loaded and unploaded at our new apartment. About a week or so before we left Becca fell and cut open her head, don't worry we have pictures. So we had to go to the ER, it only took under a hour, and they glued it back together.

We moved into our upstairs apartment and after getting everything in we decided that we didn't want to have to move again in two weeks, we were able to stay in this one. We are in a two bedroom place while we look for a house, which we are hoping will be next month. We are slowly adjusting to life here and are staying busy. I will have have to post greater details later, but I thought now that we have the internet I would let everyone know we are alive.

Happy news!

So some you may or may not know, but we have taken a job. It is in Lukin, TX. We will be moving from Saint Augustine in Oct. Right now we are trying to get things ready to go and Richard is trying to get ready for his tests. We know that is more official since Richard was released from his calling today. It is a bitter sweet moment for us. We love it here and have some great friends which we will miss. But at the same time we know we are suppose to move. We will keep everyone updated as to when we will be moving and when I find us a place to live.

Cakes!

Here are some of the cakes that I have been lately. Well I did 4 of the in three days. They all made it but one, I dropped it on the way to the car. It was also the only cake I did not get a picture of before we took them to the church. The Young Women in the ward did a fish fry and cake auction for girls camp. So I decided to help out and make the cakes. It was fun to do, but something I will never do again.

Few pictures of Mason

Since we haven't posted any pictures in the last little while here are few recent ones of Mason.

Here is Mason showing off is Spiderman swim gear. It sure looks cool!

Mason with is new hair cut. He wanted something that made him look older.

Last one, Mason caught his first fish while surf fishing . If you look closely at the fish it is sitting sideways because while he was reeling in his line he hooked it in the side.

Aubrey and Rebecca

While scanning in some of our old pictures recently we came across this picture of Aubrey:

Astonishing it looks a lot like Becca as you can kind of see in this picture:

Kind of crazy.

An update

I know it has been a while, but it seems like we have been busy. I have pictures of everything, somewhere. Big surprise I know, but I will have to have Richard help me find them later. I can not remember everything that has happened so here are a few highlights. We have had t-ball, soccer, football, and now basketball every Saturday. The kids seems to like doing it, or maybe it's the medals they get at the end. We also had swim lessons for two weeks. Aubrey loved them, she is like a little fish and loves the water. Mason on the other hand hated it. I think I had to throw him into the teacher more than once. He can swim, for some reason he was really scared this time. Richard is still doing the school thing, I can't wait for him to finish up, I am very ready to move to some place that I do not have people living above me. Becca is getting bigger all the time. She now has three teeth and is trying to walk. The other day she was trying hard to make a sad face and she really had to try. She is a very happy kid and I only hope she stays that way. Aubrey on the other hand has lost a total of four teeth and has four more that are loose. She doesn't like blood so they will be in there until the come out on their own. I am sure that I have much more to write about, but I will have to finish it up later when I do not have to fight children to type.

Guess who's old?

Yesterday Richard turned the big 30! He got to spend the whole day at his internship and he got home around 7:00. The kids and I spent half of the day getting for his party. The other half was filled with a party at Aubrey's school. But we had a good dinner, I will post the recipe later and cake with some good friends. All and all we had a good day and Richard turned a year older!

I know it's been forever and I keep telling myself that I am going to put pictures on, I just haven't done it. To be fair, I have been busy. I moved Becca out of our room and in the process decided to paint her room. So now I am working on repainting the whole place. Sadly, I have only gotten her room and the hall down. But they look a lot better. We have also been cold, not as cold as some of you, but is suppose to warm here right? Becca and I have been passing a cold back and forth so it has been a great deal of inside time for the other two. But they will live and soon enough we will be at the beach. Richard is still doing the school thing, well he is on this internships right now. He has 2 weeks left of this one and then 8 weeks of his next one. The end of this school is coming up faster than either of us thought it would. I am ready to have a house and move on, but I am not so sure Richard is wants to move onto the real world. So I promise to try and get some pictures up, for now this will have to do.

In another topic, I have been wanting to cut my hair for a while I just don't know how. I need some ideas from everyone. Richard doesn't want it too short, as for me I don't care as long as it is easy to take care of and I can kind-of keep Becca from pulling it.
